Overview

A Crawler Crane is a powerful load-lifting machine designed to operate on uneven, muddy, sandy, or rocky terrain. Unlike wheeled cranes, it moves using large metal chains (tracks) controlled by a travel sprocket, making it highly stable and suitable for off-road and heavy-duty construction environments. Powered by a diesel engine, the machine is operated from a cabin that houses travel levers and multiple operating controls. The crawler crane's boom is typically mechanical and built from high-strength steel pipes or angled steel sections.
