Course Details
Overview
A JCB machine, commonly known as a “Backhoe Loader” or “Excavator Loader,” is a versatile mobile machine designed for digging, loading, lifting, and various other tasks on construction sites. Powered by a robust diesel engine, the JCB is equipped with a dual-function cabin that includes both the driving and operating systems. Its hydraulic steering and braking system ensures smooth control, even in challenging terrain. The machine is capable of performing multiple jobs with the help of different attachments, such as earth drilling, rock breaking, pole planting, canal digging, dozing, and leveling. It comes with two hydraulic stabilizers that must be engaged during excavation operations for enhanced stability and safety. Hydraulic power is supplied by engine-driven pumps that operate all major functions of the machine.JCB machines are uniquely designed with smaller front tires and larger rear tires, allowing them to navigate hilly, muddy, and uneven surfaces with ease. It can reach travel speeds of up to 36 km/h. The loader bucket has a capacity ranging from 1 to 1.5 cubic meters, and the lifting capacity can go up to 3000 kilograms. Both the diesel and hydraulic tanks have a generous 150-liter capacity. Given its wide range of capabilities, JCB machines have become essential tools on construction sites where manual labor is not sufficient for heavy-duty tasks.
